We keep a live repository of thousands of property management referrals: on site and community managers, leasing, maintenance supervisors, regional and portfolio roles. Once your file is complete we run your resume against it and come back with openings that actually fit, usually inside one to three days.

One to three days is measured from the moment you tell us we may apply for you, which is one question on the screen straight after you send your resume.

$100 per property, per month

The Rent-Free Competition is a 30 day challenge to run your own book instead of somebody else's: set your firm up lawfully in your state and sign one owner. Every property you get verified pays $100 a month for 3 months, for up to 5 properties. Everybody who qualifies is paid, not only the winners.

A share of the $35,000 pool

The Rent-Free Competition puts $35,000 on the table on top of the monthly payment. Everybody with a verified property is scored on published criteria: the owners signed and kept, how the properties actually ran, and whether the money was handled properly. The pool is split between the winners at the end of the season.

$35,000 is the total pool shared between winners, not an amount per person. Winners are chosen by judges on the published scoring criteria. It is not a draw.

Questions

What managers ask before applying

No. Applying is free, being placed is free, and there is no fee taken out of your pay. We are paid by the firms that hire, never by the manager.

No. Most people who apply are still working. Nothing is sent to your current employer, and we do not contact anyone on your behalf until you tell us to.

Autonomerly is the platform your working profile lives on, and it is free. It holds the detail an employer asks for, so we can put a complete file in front of them instead of a resume and a guess. The link is in your portal, and your job search does not wait for it.

It is stored on our own server, not in a public folder, and it is read by our placement team and used to match you against openings. We do not sell it, publish it, or send it to an employer without you asking us to. Saying yes in your portal to us applying for you is that ask, and every application we send is listed there. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Only after you say yes. Once we have read your resume we show you exactly what we took from it, let you correct any of it, and ask once. Say yes and we apply for you where we can, attaching your resume and a cover letter written only from the facts in it, and send you a daily note of what went out. Where a site needs your own login, such as LinkedIn, you get a ready to send packet in your portal instead. You can pause it, or switch to approving each opening first, at any time.

Our working target is one to three days from the point you tell us we may apply. Every stage is written into your portal as it happens, so you are never left guessing.

A 30 day challenge to stop working for a firm and be one. Set yourself up lawfully in your state, sign at least one owner to manage for, and we pay you $100 per property per month for 3 months, for up to 5 properties. Qualifying also puts you in the $35,000 pool, which is judged on published criteria and is not a draw. It is free to enter, it is optional, and joining changes nothing about your job search. In most states, yes, and in a handful, no. Managing somebody else's property for a fee is usually real estate brokerage, and doing it unlicensed is an offence. When you join the challenge your portal shows your own state's row: what licence it wants, how many hours of education, and the regulator to check it with. Where we are not certain we say so instead of guessing. None of it is legal advice and you should take your own.
